Lilia Vargas

The Teacher Lilia Vargas was born in Mexico City and began studying music and piano at the age of 5 years. Continued later with a concert professional career in violin at the National Conservatory of Music, where she was the outstanding student from their teachers Aaron Bitran e Icilio Bredo.

Has achieved significant experience in the field of music, giving many concerts and shows all over the country as a member of major orchestras, among which are the Chamber Orchestra of the Italian Cultural Institute, Orchestra and Soloists Chamber Mexico of National Conservatory of Music.

From 1983-1992 she directed the Chamber Group La Salle University which offered numerous presentations within and outside the University.

She was an invited member of the OFUNAM (UNAM Philharmonic Orchestra) from June 2000 to June 2006.

Currently teaches violin at ITAM (Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico).

From 1995 to date teaches violin at the CNM (National Conservatory of Music).

Basics

One learns to take the violin and bow with a balanced posture, seeking a harmony between body and music. Also, _ also develop the two skills in taking the bow: a good hand position and the creation of the physical habit to hold this position.

We study the first position, basic music theory and rhythm development through simple pieces and educational concerts. It also starts the introduction to vibrato and scales and arpeggios in one octave.

Intermediate

Dominate all the strokes of the bow, also the "desmangues" for studying the 3rd, 4th and 5th. Introduction to the scales and arpeggios in 2 octaves.

Studies are initiated Mazas, Kayser, Kreutzer and Fiorillo. It begins to develop advanced level tuning, the sound, the music and memory through the study of sonatas by Handel and Corelli.

Concerts are also studied in La m of Vivaldi, Bach and Mozart.
